Project Health

  • Hyperledger Solang development is going well. Work on the Soroban target is underway, with the goal of supporting cross-contract calls and value transfers.

  • Hyperledger Solang got invited to be presented live at Stellar’s Meridian 2024 conference, which is a great opportunity to showcase the project to a wider audience.

  • Solang Playground has undergone a UI/UX revamp, and is now more visually attractive.

Releases

  • Hyperledger Solang v0.3.4: Athens got released. After a cross contract calls and value transfers are supported in Soroban target, another release will be made.

Overall Activity in the Past Quarter

For Solang

  • Added print function to the Soroban target, which in turn enabled printing runtime errors.

  • Added support for different storage types of Soroban contracts.

For Solang-playground

  • Added a new UI/UX design to the playground, making it more visually attractive.

Current Plans

  • Make Soroban target support cross-contract calls and value transfers, getting it ready for the next release.
  • Further improve Solang Playground UI/UX, making it more visually attractive.
